Tür 21h, Konzerte 22h, après: Rave.
`Decennaium ex spatio` invites electronic music enthusiasts to gather for an evening of celebration and sound, and guide you through cosmic auditory landscapes. FezayaFirar, Stepper, Molekühl, and Ink! will take the stage with live performances and DJ sets. Come join us for this journey through evolving soundscapes that bridge genres, eras and passing of decades!
FezayaFirar is a duo founded in 2012 in Istanbul consisting of two brothers and is named after one of the first Sci-Fi novels in Turkish, namely “Escape to outer space”.
FezayaFirar’s sound is made up of live synthesized elements that invoke the monstrofobic dimension of space and infinity. FezayaFirar mainly uses analog and modular electronics, exploring their limits to their endless variety, which are occasionally accompanied by acoustic and DIY instruments and field recordings. Their music oscillates between industrial ambient and drone sounds and techno rhythmic soundscapes.

in his 40 year + career, Steve Buchanan aka StepPer has the rare distinction of having made a name for himself professionally in two fields: music and dance. As well as playing alto sax and guitar, he is also the inventor of the interactive dance / music instrument 2nd Line. Currently based in Zurich he continues touring extensively worldwide; In his transformative live sets, he uses samplers, sequencers, noise elements to create dense sonic structures and layered rhythms with a definite flavour of 4 am.
Mirjam Gautschi aka molekühl is a Zurich based Vinyl-DJ and musician. Her own music, made with synthesizers & keyboards, also crosses genres: Her classical background meets experimental techno, noises & drones and bulky rhythms. The long occupation with field recordings is also a part of molekühl's electronic explorations and commissioned compositions for film or dance. As a Vinyl-only-DJ, she plays a broad variety of genres such as Ambient, Experimental, Halftime or Broken Beats, while her club sets mainly include (late) 90ies Techno and Trance. In her DJ-Sets she strongly focuses on dramaturgy. Collaborations with musicians from different fields, DJ workshops, live film scoring or working as a booker / cultural manager (for ex. Kraftfeld, Rhizom Festival) are also among her fields of activity. In addition, she is strongly committed to more gender balance in the club culture.

Having explored the vast lands of the Hardcore Continuum since the late 90ies, Ink! is interested in the connections between signal and noise, and the nuances in-between. Feeding from Techno, Rave, Bass and Dub, and often using more than just two turntables and a mixer, Ink! stirs up sets that are invitations to loose yourself in a sea of sound. From 2007 - 2015, he ran the DIY-label “Hula Honeys”, documenting (parts of) the Swiss Electronica scene during those years. In 2015, he launched the label -OUS together with long-time affiliates Feldermelder and IOKOI, releasing electronic and experimental music by Swiss and international artists. Ink! is active in various cultural projects in his city: he is part of the collective running the mini-club Umbo, which hosts experimental live shows as well as club nights on the edges of contemporary dance music. He is also involved in Zurich’s collaborative Rhizom Festival at Rote Fabrik, which aims to showcase local, national and international musicians who take push the boundaries of their art.
